About Psychology Presents: Who was Viktor Frankl?

Frankl was the founder of logotherapy.  Logotherapy is basically a therapeutic approach that has one central focus.  The focus is to help people find meaning in their life.  If people find meaning, they will find happiness and a reason to live.  In essence, all mental health issues will disappear.  Frankl came up with this idea while in a concentration camp in Nazi Germany.  In his own experience, he found that he had a purpose (to share his new ideas on psychology) and therefore even he could find happiness and a will to live in a terrible place.
