We hear a lot about the behaviors associated with OCD.  Things like checking door locks, avoiding cracks in the sidewalk, or washing hands repeatedly are all common.  However, what we rarely hear about are the obsessive thoughts that are also as difficult for the client as the compulsion to do something about them.  The good news is that there are just three main types of obsessive thoughts which OCD clients struggle with.  First is sexual thoughts.  Second are violent thoughts.  And, last are religious thoughts.
